What Pawgress is

A shop for the things a dog or a cat runs out of — food, treats, litter, grooming, toys, collars, bowls and travel gear — held in our own warehouse and shipped by us.

We are not a marketplace. Every listing is stock we bought, so there is no third-party seller standing between you and a complaint, and no question about who is responsible for what arrives.

We never sell animals

Supplies only. No live animals of any species, no breeding, no brokering, no rehoming — and this is a permanent constraint on the product, not a launch limitation. A live-animal listing cannot be created in this system at all; the guard is in the database, not in a policy document someone could later relax.

The same guard blocks prescription-only veterinary medicines. We stock over-the-counter supplies, food and grooming, and nothing that needs a veterinarian’s signature.

Cats get equal weight

Most Indian pet stores lead with dogs and give cats a tab. Cats are the fastest-growing and least-served half of this market, so here they get the same navigation, the same home-page space and the same depth of range — enforced as a design rule, checked in review, and visible on every shelf on this site.

How this store is built

• No card details, anywhere. There is no card number, CVV or expiry column in our database — not encrypted, not nullable, absent. The payment gateway holds card credentials; we never see them. That is an RBI requirement and it is designed in rather than promised.
• Prices are computed on our servers. Totals, discounts, delivery and tax are recalculated from the database on every request, so nothing sent by a browser can change what an order costs.
• Consent is granular. Order messages and marketing are separate choices, nothing is pre-ticked, and marketing is never a condition of buying — the Privacy Centre is where each one is turned on or off.
• Every listing carries its declarations. Net quantity, MRP, manufacturer, country of origin and consumer-care details appear on the product page itself, because that is where the Legal Metrology rules require them.
• Stock is never adjusted quietly. Every movement writes a ledger row with a reason, which is what makes an oversell or a miscount traceable instead of arguable.

Where this store has got to

You can browse the whole catalogue today. Accounts, checkout, order tracking and the self-service data tools are still being built, and the pages that will carry them say so plainly rather than showing controls that do nothing.

The same applies to the policy pages: where a term has not been decided and published, the delivery and returns, terms and privacy pages name the gap instead of filling it with something that sounds reasonable.
